If I could, sure. Conventional home ovens aren't really made for a good roast and I'm too lazy to turn the beans every few minutes.

Ever consider modding a popcorn maker?

I'm not allowed any geisha, I'm officially "Old" TM; and I got Minot beat in spades.

As for you, target acquisition with a katana is limited range; you're "hot," an AIM-9L ought to suffice. Wink

THAT is a terribly large weapon for such a small target... a bit of overkill don't you think? It's kind of like killing a cockroach with a nuke... though the roach would probably survive... Razz

If I do I'll wait till/if I get to Oz. Considering SFC's "taste" in coffee, I'll need it to save her from eternal coffee damnation!

SFC likes instant coffee?! Shocked

The only acceptable time to use instant is in the field, water optional.

We *must* do an intervention and save her before it's too late!

tea: dunno

Iced tea: Thai

coffee: cruelty-free, whole bean, medium roast

juice: V-8 spicy

SFC likes instant coffee? I'm presently enjoying a cup myself. Very Happy Have you tried Aldi's coffee, SFC? That's the brand I've been buying the last few years. I really like the convenience of instant coffee, although most brands I dislike. This coffee is pretty good.

Going to make a second cup this morning....

That would be humor. I call anything labeled as organic, fair trade, trans-fat free, natural, free range, cage free, etc as 'cruelty free'. Very Happy

In this case, it means I prefer fair trade, shade grown, organic coffee. Not hard to come by in these parts.

The coffee they have at work (which is free) is disgusting, so I make instant. At the moment I have Mount Hagen brand organic instant.

Instant coffee is an offence against the Gods... what a bunch of heathens... I bet you people put stuff into your coffee too....

BTW Yosh... I have a "cocktail" for you to try... it was the first Mr Brite's favorite, using Spew... 2 parts Everclear, 1 part SoCo, 1 part Dew, and 1 part Cella Lumbrusco... He called it a Troll... after 2 or 3, you thought you could regenerate....

Heathen? I'm offended. You and I are now mortal enemies for one week, with the possibility for a shorter term with good behavior.

Besides, you haven't tasted the crap they have here. Or maybe you have - Community Coffee Dark Roast. I hate it. There is the option for something even more vile that comes in individual packets - Folgers I think.

After 2 or 3 I'd be brain-dead......Everclear, SoCo (the attraction of which I never understood), and Lambrusco together is on the UN's "Crimes against Humanity" list.

The Cella was to help cut the sweetness of the Spew and the SoCo... LMAO... I think the Everclear was to lend to feeling of invincibility.... Hey... he was Airborne... jumped out of perfectly good airplanes for no apparent reason....

SoCo is disgusting. This from someone who has had it more than once. Everclear is just Campbell's Condensed Vodka, so anything that works there, works. Citrus keeps the vomit reflex minimized.

I can't drink coffee, it will instantly trigger migraine be it instant or the other kind. My sisters partner is over here from Oz, she's with the Victoria Police, a senior connie, constable i take it? But she is constantly lookin for coffee, and is a huge coffee snob, apparently coffee shops in Oz are on a par to the pub scene in Ireland- that's alot of coffee!

I used to drink the Nescafe Cap Colombie and even went as far as buying those lil silver mini tea pot things you put coffee on the bottom and water on the top or something? Other way around maybe. But it was not worth the 3 day migraine that soon followed so had to stop. I'm not a tea drinker unless it's green tea and at that I only drink it for the benefits than the taste.

I'll try it sometime. But we did a taste test with several top shelf vodkas in martinis a couple of years ago. My taste buds weren't sensitive enough to differentiate among the good brands.

Been adding homemade red currant syrup to a few of my drinks. It has worked well adding it to pops like coke, ginger ale, tonic water. It was also a good addition to my vodka and tonics with lime twist. Very Happy

wine: I wanna go to Miami for the holidays...

cocktail: Big arching red feathers that look good on a pimpin' hat

liqueur: ouzo. So I like licorice. Shoot me

Soda pop: Diet Pepsi. Although I have been known to knock back a Dr Pepper or six

tea: Diet green tea with citrus flavor. The cheapo "Big K" stuff and Lipton's are identical to my tongue. I have recently fallen in love with this stuff...no calories, no sugar...being diabetic, this stuff is PERFECT

Iced tea: blaargh...

coffee: cream and sugar, please

juice: Tomato or V8 juice. Gooooooooooood stuff...
